Kentucky’s New Chapter in Perinatal Mental Health Care

KyCOMPASS brings expertise and innovation in perinatal mental health care to Kentucky. As a new program, we provide near real-time consultation, individualized trainings for clinics and hospitals, comprehensive provider resources, and educational opportunities, all designed to equip Kentucky healthcare providers with the knowledge, tools, and support needed to enhance care for pregnant and postpartum patients. Our mission is to make high-quality perinatal mental health care accessible statewide while strengthening the confidence and skills of every provider serving Kentucky families.

Funded by the Health Resources and Services Administration, HRSA, with additional support from Kentucky Department for Public Health, KyCOMPASS actively collaborates with other programs through annual meetings, monthly special interest group meetings, and larger collaborative events. These partnerships help expand the reach of KyCOMPASS and connect providers with valuable resources and support across the state.
