Supporting Providers to Support Moms
Connecting providers with timely, expert support to improve maternal mental health outcomes statewide.

Who We Support
KyCOMPASS — Kentucky’s Consultation & Outreach Program for Maternal Psychiatry and Support Services, is designed exclusively for Kentucky healthcare providers, not for direct patient access. Our services support providers caring for pregnant and postpartum individuals experiencing mental health or substance use concerns, giving you the tools, guidance, and resources needed to provide high-quality, timely care.

What are providers saying
As a pediatrician, my work centers on infants and children, but supporting a mother’s mental health is one of the most impactful ways to promote a child’s lifelong well-being. I’m excited about the launch of KyCOMPASS because it strengthens access to perinatal mental health support for mothers across Kentucky
— Amber Pendleton, MD
Having the ability to call for a consult in complex cases will be a huge asset to my practice.
— Elizabeth Ottman, MD, FACOG, PMH-C
KyCOMPASS makes it easier to connect moms with the resources they deserve. As someone who has focused on perinatal mental health for the past 3 years, I’m thrilled to see this program shining a light on maternal mental health in Kentucky.
— Ashly Skaggs, PMHNP-BC, PMH-C
