The Big 3-Kentucky Maternal Morbidity and Mortality Evaluation

"As researchers from the University of Kentucky and the Pacific Institute for Research and Evaluation, we are inviting you to participate in training focused on reducing maternal injuries and deaths to pregnant and postpartum women in Kentucky. Violence is the leading cause of maternal deaths in the USA. Kentucky’s maternal mortality rates are our nations’ 2nd highest, thus highlighting Kentucky’s need for greater capacity to address our goal of reducing maternal injury and deaths due to violence.
We are offering CEUs for completing the training our team has developed with the goal of identifying risk factors that healthcare or helping professionals can use to reduce morbidity for pregnant or postpartum women in Kentucky."
